Customer Service

Since 1980 Tri-CED Community Recycling has operated under the philosophy that the always comes first. This tradition of sensitivity to our customers has translated to a solid reputation in making our customers a priority both at our Buy Back Recycling Center and on routes in Union City and Hayward.

Our Buy-Back Recycling Center operates five (5) days a week Tuesday through Saturday and averages approximately 160 customers per day and approximately 3,100 customers per month. Our attention to customer service and our commitment to youth employment separates Tri-CED from many traditional recycling operations that make customers wait for long periods of time when bringing recyclables to a recycling center.

At our Pay Booth you can ask for or will find Customer Service Surveys that are handed out on a regular basis and then compiled monthly by our administrative staff insuring that customers feedback is logged and acted upon if enhancements or critiques are noted.

Our approach is to address customers properly, to treat everyone the same and to be sure that we share the responses from our CUSTOMER SERVICE SURVEYS with our Buy-Back staff insuring that all issues are resolved on a timely basis.
